Purchasing & Production Planning Coordinator

Job Overview
The Purchasing & Production Planning Coordinator is responsible for managing procurement, inventory integrity, and production scheduling. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role focuses on optimizing the supply chain, ensuring on-time production, and fostering strong vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Source products, materials, and services using ERP systems.
- Negotiate pricing and maintain supplier relationships.
- Optimize inventory levels and manage stock across warehouses.
- Create and maintain production schedules to fulfill customer orders.
- Lead cost-reduction initiatives and improve supply chain processes.
- Track and report key metrics, including vendor performance and production KPIs.
- Support the team in resolving delivery, quality, or stock issues.
Qualifications
Education:
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
Experience:
- 3–5 years in procurement, supply chain, or a similar role.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Strong negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Languages:
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
