POSITION SUMMARY
As a Class 3 Driver, you will play a key role in the company’s supply chain by ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of lubricant products to our customers. You will be responsible for transporting packaged and bulk products within your assigned territory while providing exceptional customer service and representing the company professionally.
YOUR MANDATE
Reporting to the Dispatcher/Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries, verifying order accuracy, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction while complying with safety standards, company policies, and all applicable transportation regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely and efficiently deliver lubricant products to customers using a Class 3 vehicle.
Plan and complete deliveries using the most efficient routes.
Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Load and unload products in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.
Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.
Ensure deliveries are completed on schedule and meet customer expectations.
Comply with company policies and all applicable transportation and safety regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
Operate and maintain delivery vehicles safely and responsibly.
Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers.
Understand and adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as required to support operational needs.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Technical Skills
Experience operating Class 3 vehicles and delivering products.
Strong knowledge of safe driving and transportation practices.
Ability to perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
Knowledge of transportation regulations and road safety requirements.
Experience handling and delivering industrial or commercial products is considered an asset.
Interpersonal Skills

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience as a delivery driver.
Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with Air Brake Endorsement (if required).
Satisfactory driving record.
Forklift certification is considered an asset.
Experience in the transportation or distribution industry is considered an asset.
Must be legally authorized and qualified to operate both manual and automatic transmission commercial vehicles, with no licence restrictions that would limit the operation of either transmission type.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Frequent travel throughout the Greater Vancouver area and surrounding regions.
Position requires extended periods of driving.
Regular loading and unloading of products and materials.
Work performed in various weather conditions.
Strict adherence to road safety regulations and material handling procedures.
