As part of our growth and efforts to optimize our offering in the Heavy Duty sector, we are creating a new position: Product Specialist – Heavy Vehicle Market, dedicated to this strategic division. Reporting to the Director – Product Management, the successful candidate will play a key role in supplier relationship management, product offering development (with a focus on heavy-duty wheels), sales coordination, and procurement support. This role fulfills a critical need: establishing a clear and structured link between purchasing, products, and sales.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage product categories within the heavy vehicle division, with a focus on wheels and related equipment.
Manage business relationships with suppliers: negotiation, follow-up on commercial agreements, performance reviews, and development support.
Collaborate on the identification, selection, and integration of new products or product lines in line with the company’s strategic positioning.
Ensure product data quality and updates in the PIM system: pricing, status, warranties, technical descriptions, etc.
Participate in developing the product positioning strategy based on origin, sales potential, and market trends.
Actively contribute to sales development by supporting the sales teams (potential analysis, customer targeting, etc.).
Work closely with procurement, marketing, IT, sales, and customer service teams.
Take part in producing the divisional catalog, ensuring timelines and content consistency.
Be a driver of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for innovation, streamlining, or growth.
Desired Profile
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in a similar role (category management, purchasing, or product development), preferably in the heavy vehicle sector.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of the Heavy Duty market, including its products, clients, and business dynamics.
Education:
University or technical degree in a relevant field (business, management, logistics, etc.).
Skills:
Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
Thoroughness, autonomy, analytical mindset, and proactivity
Proficiency with office tools and product information management systems (PIM)
Collaborative spirit and a people-first, inclusive culture
Languages:
English - Have knowledge of French /An asset (communication with suppliers and partners in Quebec).
Mobility:
Occasional travel may be required (supplier meetings, industry events).
Assets:
An established network in the industry
Experience in private label product development or product portfolio optimization
