Position Summary
The Sales Director – Canadian Wheel Division is responsible for leading all sales-related activities for the Alberta and British Columbia markets. Based in Edmonton, this role requires a highly engaged, field-oriented leader with the strategic insight and relationship-building skills to drive growth and manage key accounts. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the wheel distribution industry and proven experience managing sales teams and operations in a branch-based or service-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the regional sales strategy in alignment with Canadian Wheel’s national objectives.
- Lead and support the regional sales team through coaching, performance tracking, and field engagement.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive customer acquisition within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, service branches, and distribution partners.
- Monitor and manage sales performance, KPIs, forecasts, and budget targets.
- Work cross-functionally with operations, purchasing, and marketing teams to ensure executional alignment.
- Represent the division in key client meetings, trade shows, and regional events.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales leadership role, ideally in a service branch or distribution environment.
- Solid knowledge of OTR, Agricultural, Trailer, Highway, and Passenger Car wheels and related product segments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage key accounts and business development in a technical or industrial setting.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to influence and maintain long-term business relationships.
- Hands-on, field-first mindset – this role requires regular presence in customer sites, branch locations, and on the road.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently across Alberta and British Columbia.
